Suirei smuggles Maomao and Shisui out of the rear palace. Jinshi begins to search for Maomao.

Maomao suddenly disappears from the harem. There are no clues in the Imperial Palace, so when Jinshi asks about Maomao's recent movements at the medical office, he notices that Maomao the cat has also disappeared. Luomen, who has been listening to Jinshi and the others' conversation, thinks that searching for the cat may provide a clue to Maomao's whereabouts, and begins to search the harem with the herbal medicine that Maomao had picked up just before. Meanwhile, Maomao and Shisui, who have been captured by Suirei, are taken away from the harem somewhere. From Suirei's actions, whose purpose is unclear, Maomao realizes something...
