Luomen returns to the rear palace. His observations trigger Maomao's curiosity.

To assist with the birth of Lady Gyokuyou, who is suspected of having a breech baby, Maomao's medical instructor and adoptive father, Luomen, comes to the medical area of the harem. Luomen immediately summarizes the current problems in the harem and creates a model for the ladies-in-waiting who attend the harem to practice writing. When he delivers it to the harem, Maomao learns from an old eunuch at the harem that Luomen had done something similar before he was banished from the harem. Suddenly, a sense of unease arises in Maomao's mind. To find out the truth behind this, Maomao goes to visit a certain person...
