"Ka Zuigetsu" is the 36th overall episode and the 12th episode of the second season of The Apothecary Diaries anime adaptation.

Maomao discovers Jinshi's secret. She wants nothing to do with whatever the politics behind it is.

Maomao and Jinshi are attacked by assassins wielding a projectile weapons, but they manage to escape into a cave at the base of the waterfall. While trying to escape from the cave, Maomao realizes a secret that Jinshi has been hiding. Jinshi decides to tell them the secret himself, but... Meanwhile, at the banquet hall where Jinshi and the others have disappeared, a messenger arrives at Basen's office, saying, "The master's clothes have been found on the rocks and may have been washed away," causing a stir in the hall. However, this is Maomao's secret plan to expose the culprit who has the weapon.
