"Mirrors" is the 28th overall episode and the 4th episode of the second season of The Apothecary Diaries anime adaptation.

The special envoy from a foreign land gifts mirrors - a rarity in this country - to the high concubines. However, they bring mysteries as well.

A large glass mirror was presented to four senior concubines by a foreign envoy. The Jade Pavilion was excited by the rare luxury item, but Maomao was worried about the hidden intentions behind it. Meanwhile, Gaoshun approached Maomao with a request for advice. The content of the request was that "the younger of two daughters from a noble family is pregnant with a fairy's child." How could the sisters, who were under strict surveillance, communicate with people outside? Maomao uses something to solve the mystery of the locked room, which seems impossible. Meanwhile, the envoy asked Jinshi to fulfill a difficult request: "I want to meet the moon fairy that my grandfather saw 50 years ago."
