"A Jaunt Around Town" is the 17th episode of the The Apothecary Diaries anime adaptation.

Covering up Jinshi's otherworldly beauty is no easy task, but after Maomao takes the challenge head-on, she's surprised when she's also asked to don the disguise of a noblewoman and escort "Jinka" outside the palace.

Maomao was asked by the handsome Jinshi, who could be the cause of the country's downfall, to use makeup to transform him into a different person. Jinshi applied powder to make him look tanned, wrapped his body in cloth to make him look unattractive, and put on commoner's clothes to transform into a different person. After finishing a job, Maomao was thinking about going home for the first time in a long while on her day off, but Suiren and Gaoshun stopped her and she ended up disguising herself as well, and ended up walking around the city with Jinshi.
